EnStream, a joint venture of Canada-based mobile carriers Bell, Rogers and Tellus, announced enhancements to its identity verification and device authentication services that are used to protect and confirm the online identity of consumers. These services include new analytics, mobile device authentication capabilities and mobile location services that cover more than 90 percent of the Canadian market. Additionally, the mobile location services are available without the requirement of software downloads or apps on mobile devices.
LocationSmart is among the trusted partners mentioned in the announcement as it provides the cloud-based location technology used to deliver mobile location services.
EnStream’s new services are utilized with end-user consent in a variety of use cases and several include financial services, retail and payments, mobile lotteries and igaming, roadside assistance and transportation and logistics.
