Geofencing Issue

One more issue that the provincial regulators are worried about is how operators will be able to prevent out-of-jurisdiction players from participating. The two front-runners for geofencing service providers are LocationSmart and GeoComply. Both use different ways of deterring a player’s locations and have their pros and cons, but LocationSmart has previously worked with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation and IGT.
