New deal expected to enhance caller experiences and maximize revenues 

Carlsbad, CA, June 02, 2016 - LocationSmart, the worldwide leader in cloud location services for enterprise and consumer applications, today announces an agreement with #250 – America’s Mobile Speed Dial, a unique mobile consumer engagement platform, to deliver geographic call routing and location-based offers. Integration of LocationSmart’s mobile location services enables #250 (“pound two-fifty”) to connect consumers to a geographically appropriate office or call center and to help streamline the customer experience. 

#250 is a network-based speed dial that works on all major mobile carriers in the U.S. and Canada, as well as on many of the smaller regional carriers. The company develops ad campaigns utilizing the combination of #250 and a Spoken KeywordSM or phrase to easily connect consumers to advertisers. #250 customers span a variety of industries from retail to financial services and nonprofits, but it is focused on direct response radio advertising. It’s ease-of-use delivers more calls compared to toll-free numbers or text marketing and its reach is not limited like other mobile technologies such as QR codes or the need to download a mobile app prior to engaging with a company. 

After a prospective customer hears a radio or TV ad inviting them to dial #250 and say a specific keyword or phrase, they are connected with the advertiser in a regular voice phone call. The caller can also give their consent to receive a one-time text reply from the advertiser and this establishes a digital connection to the consumer (which is impossible with landline callers). Prior to its relationship with LocationSmart, #250 was required to either ask callers their location or route calls based on the caller’s area code, which does not always represent their true physical location. 

LocationSmart’s location services simplify this process by automatically identifying the caller’s true location based on data from their mobile device once the call is initiated. With no software or application to download and comprehensive consent management services, the LocationSmart API integration was seamless and #250 receives real-time actionable location intelligence. As a result, advertisers can now use a single keyword in nationwide campaigns and callers are geographically routed to the appropriate advertiser location or they receive a text reply with location-specific offers and information.
